Leather Care

Caring for Classic Leather

I have always loved working with leather because it has a life of its own. A good leather bag will soften, deepen in color, and carry small marks from the places it has been. With a little care, it will only become more beautiful over time.

Clean, Gently

- Wipe your bag with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust from everyday use.

- For small marks, use a lightly damp cloth and a gentle leather cleaner. Do not soak the leather or scrub it.

Condition with Care

- Leather can become dry, so I suggest using a leather conditioner once or twice a year.

- Apply only a small amount with a soft cloth, rub it in gently, and let the leather absorb it before buffing lightly.

Protect from the Elements

- Keep your bag away from strong sunlight, heaters, and damp places.

- If it gets wet, pat it dry with a clean towel and let it dry naturally. Do not use heat to dry it.

Store Thoughtfully

- When you are not using it, keep your bag in a breathable dust bag or soft fabric cover.

- Fill it with tissue paper so it keeps its shape, and store it somewhere cool and dry.
